A New Winter Beer Rooted in German Tradition
Fabricator isn’t just another seasonal release — it’s a deeply personal brew inspired by the time our brewer spent stationed in Germany. His local brewery, Parkbräu, crafted a classic doppelbock that became a favorite during his time overseas, and that authentic Bavarian influence is woven directly into this beer.
This release is our way of bringing a piece of that German beer heritage home to Northern Illinois, crafted with Sew Hop’d’s signature precision and creativity.
⚙️ The Brewing Process — A Brew that Takes Its Time
If you're familiar with lagers, you already know: good things take time. Fabricator undergoes a longer brew day, followed by an extended fermentation and conditioning period. That slow, patient process is exactly what makes doppelbocks so smooth, rich, and clean.
No challenges, no chaos — just a beautifully behaved brew day (which any brewer will tell you is a blessing).
Do you recognize this man?! The Happy German Brewster on the front of our Fabricator can is the same guy from our Stairway To Helles and Copperhead Trail Cans! We might need to give him a name :)
