More About Us

She’s Sew Blonde

5.4% ABV
17 IBU

Our blonde ale is loaded with Mosaic hops—the popular, fruit-forward hops of the beer world. Enjoy the subtle berry tones of the hops in this smooth, easy-to-drink brew. We don’t know if blondes actually have more fun, but we do know you’ll love drinking this beer. Grab a friend, a glass of our blonde ale, and head to the beer garden—that’s all the fun you’ll need.

Sonne

5.5% ABV
13 IBU

A classic beer style, Hefeweizen is the original German wheat beer—crisp, light, and extremely drinkable. We’ve added lemon zest to this classic to bring you Sonne, the German word for Sun. It’s as delicious as it is refreshing. In fact, it just may be your new favorite patio beer.

Big H 48 IPA

6.7% ABV
70 IBU

If you like IPAs, you’ll love the explosion of citrus hop aromas and the bright, crisp finish. Our Big H 48 is Sew Hop’d’s signature IPA--it’s crisp and refreshing, but most importantly, it’s impressively drinkable. This one’s for you, Huntley.

Needle’s Eye P.A.

7.1% ABV
80 IBU

You’re going to love the funky, tropical notes in the Needle’s Eye P.A., our not-so-hazy version of the ever popular New England-style IPA. This dank brew brings the funk with loads of citrus-forward aromas and that juicy mouthfeel you want from your NEIPAs.

Stans Amber

5.9% ABV
28 IBU

William Stanley North, known to appreciate a frothy beverage or two, founded Union Special in 1881 and is the inspiration behind Stan’s Amber. This Amber Ale is subtle and extremely drinkable. The malt and hops balance perfectly, and we’re sure you’ll enjoy the subtle hop aroma. This one’s not too sweet, not too hoppy—perfect for any occasion. Cheers Stan!

Borden Street Milk Stout

4.8% ABV
30 IBU

In the latter years of the 19th century, farmers in and around Huntley “produced more milk to the square mile than any other area in the world.” In 1907, Borden’s built their milk processing plant right here on Vine Street. We honor that heritage with our Borden Street Milk Stout. The BSMS combines the earthy, malt roast tones you love in a stout with a dark chocolate finish that offers the subtle sweetness of a smooth milk stout. Enjoy this one by the pint!

Sew Hop'd
We love being part of the “Friendly Village” that is Huntley, which is why we always try and support local! We typically don’t have food trucks coming by on weekdays right now, but we always have snacks available in the taproom from other small, local businesses. Grab one of these tasty snack mixes from Morkes Chocolates of Huntley, a bag of pretzel chips from Gnarly Knots Pretzel Company, or Bier Stix from Reams Meat Market to munch on while you relax with a beer on the patio. We’ll be here from 3-7p tonight. See y’all soon. #sewhopd #sewhopdbrewery #huntleyil #hometownbrewery #supportlocal #craftbeer #supportsmallbusiness #drinklocal #beerme #wednesday #friendlyvillage #beerhere #beerstagram #brewerylife #drinkillinoisbeer
